The Dangerous Decibels classroom program has three key educational messages; 1) What are the sources of dangerous sounds? 2) What are the consequences of exposure to dangerous sounds? 3) How do I protect myself?
This two-day certification workshop is lead by Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University, and University of Northern Colorado hearing conservation, health communication, educational outreach experts. Participants will receive an educator kit with graphics, simulations, supplies, a sound level meter, and a script needed to present the classroom program.
